The Gardens
The house rises in its own grounds of 2½ acres approximately 100 metres from the River Charente boasting a glorious raised riverside location with natural woodland between the river and the house as a part of the garden providing both privacy and additional beauty to the site of the 19th Century house.

Beautiful inspiring views of the Charente and beyond can be enjoyed from the master bedrooms, the kitchen, sitting rooms, patio and gardens at all times.
The gardens are fully enclosed and offer a secluded rural setting within a straddled village about a mile from a small town. The town of Ruffec offers every facility you would need for modern day comfort. The patio at the rear of the house overlooks the wonderful view across the River Charente and ample seating is provided for al-fresco eating out. The house has its own well-maintained 5m x 12m private pool.
The gardens have a wealth of lovely plants, which add splashes of vibrant colour to the garden throughout the seasons, and there are many locations around the house where you can sit and enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine.
